Bonair Depot - charges despite cancelled order

This company charged my credit card despite cancelling the order. When called, they play dumb that it ever happened. I placed an order on April 4 and cancelled it later that same day. But on April 8, 2008, I see they submitted charges to my credit card. I called and inquired but the sales guy claims someone took it off his desk and made the charges, yea right. The sales guy then proceeds to hang up on me becasue he did not like my tone of voice. I am pissed at this business practice. Did they think I would not notice a charge of $1698 on my statement?
